Dufferin Street and Major McKenzie drive area Both the Dufferin Street and Major McKenzie Drive area are considered popular and very comfortable areas for living. It is possible to find different home styles in the area – including a number of townhouses.

The townhouses that you will find here are new, but the prices are still affordable. However, it should be noted that the prices for townhouses in the area are rising fast. The reason behind this is because people are looking for newly constructed homes when trying to find a place to live and they are more than willing to accept a townhouse. Most people do prefer newer homes, even if it means that they are getting something a little smaller. The increase in demand is driving up the price quickly.

You will mostly find standalone and semi-standalone homes in the area. Do note that the square footage for the standalone homes in the area varies a great deal. It can range from 2,000 square feet all the way to 4,000 square feet.

The adjoining plazas to the crossroad

There is also plenty to do and see in the Dufferin Street and Major McKenzie Drive area. Including the three different plazas:

  • Unnamed plaza – This plaza has two banks, LSBO, Shoppers Drug Mart, and many small shops and cafeterias.
  • Eagle Nest plaza – Home to the commercial complex that was finished in the middle of 2013. Moreover, this plaza has a gas station available for your convenience.
  • Eagles Landing plaza – One of the best-managed plazas that you are going to find in the immediate area. It has everything that shoppers might want.

There are additional advantages to living in the area as well, including the Go train station, a Walmart, and Lowe’s within close proximity.

Everything that we have mentioned so far really shows that the area deserves to be described as ‘luxury living’; you have everything that you might need at your doorstep.
